Barbara Bailey, alias Zidia Zel, is a Toronto graphic designer and visual artist who creates work in a variety of forms – paint-ing in two and three dimensions, installation and performance. She addresses issues such as homelessness, the urban forest, mystery and magic. A former member of art collective Trapeze, her work has been exhibited in Toronto, Ottawa and Orleans. She has a Specialist degree in Visual Studies and a Major in Japanese Studies from the University of Toronto.
